Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how the LazyMeals website (lazymeals.app) and the LazyMeals app use cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage and device storage. It applies together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as local storage and session storage), and storage that an app uses on your device. Under EU and national law, information may only be stored on or read from your device without your consent if it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
The website
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking on lazymeals.app.
| Technology | Provider | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website statistics | Plausible Analytics | Counts visits and which pages are popular, without cookies and without collecting personal data or tracking you across websites | No cookies or device storage |
| Spam protection on the signup form | Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks that a person, not a bot, is submitting the early-access form. It is only loaded when you start using the form | Strictly necessary. May store technical information in your browser to complete the check |
| Hosting and security | Cloudflare | Delivers the website and protects it from attacks | Strictly necessary. Cloudflare may set a security cookie if it needs to check suspicious traffic |
The website does not store information about how you arrived at the site on your device. When you join the early-access list, the page you signed up on and, if you came straight from another website or a campaign link, that referrer or campaign are sent together with the form. See our Privacy Policy.
Because the website only uses strictly necessary technologies, we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add technologies that need your consent, we will ask for it first and update this policy.
The app
The LazyMeals app stores some information on your device that is needed for it to work:
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in securely.
- Settings: for example your app language.
- Cached content: copies of information you have already loaded, such as your current meal plan or grocery list, so the app is faster and can handle short connection problems.
- Cooking state: for example the step you are on and running timers.
- Push notifications: a device token that lets us send notifications you have allowed. You can turn notifications off in the app or in your device settings.
The app does not use advertising identifiers or advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you in the app for advertising.
To find and fix errors and understand how features are used, the app may send diagnostic and usage information, such as error reports, app version, device type and which features are used, as described in our Privacy Policy. We keep this to the minimum needed. If we use any analytics that require your consent under applicable law, we will ask for your consent in the app first.
Managing cookies and storage
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of the website, such as the signup form, from working. In the app, you can sign out, turn off notifications, or delete the app to remove the information it stores on your device. Deleting the app does not delete your account.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy if we change the technologies we use. The date and version at the top show when it was last updated. Questions? Contact us at lazymeals-privacy@bergie.se.
